  • Maryanne Rose

    President & CEO

    With more than 25 years of experience in the business, Maryanne has led SpenDifference from a mere idea to a company bringing real change to the industry. Her career spans all facets of foodservice. She has overseen strategic supply chain activities for a multi-concept restaurant company as well as led initiatives and teams in operations finance and training. Her breadth of knowledge includes management and executive positions with Rock Bottom Restaurants Inc., VICORP Inc., CA1 Services, and Sky Chefs Inc. She is currently a member of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) and the Women's Foodservice Forum.

  • Karl Weinner

    CFO

    Karl has provided the support needed to build the financial underpinnings for SpenDifference. His expertise includes budget development and management, overseeing accounting operations, analysis, and strategic planning. Prior to joining SpenDifference Karl held director roles with Quiznos in Denver, and Our Children's Homestead in Illinois. Karl holds an MBA in Finance, Accounting, and Strategic Management from the University of Chicago.

  • Sherri Hager

    VP of Client Solutions

    Sherri has logged more than 25 years in the foodservice and consumer packaged goods industries. She spearheads all customer services, business development and marketing efforts for SpenDifference. Her responsibilities include contract negotiations, working with her team to build strong customer relationships and increase customer retention. Sherri’s experience includes stints with companies such as Mobil Chemical (Pactiv), FoodHandler, Pepsico, and Procter & Gamble. Sherri earned her BS from the Kansas State University, and is a member of the Women’s Foodservice Forum and IFMA.

  • DeWayne Dove

    VP of Procurement

    DeWayne has more than two decades of experience in the retail and foodservice markets, specializing in proteins and commodities. A significant portion of his career was spent with Safeway where he supervised quality assurance and purchasing, ultimately leading the protein purchasing team for the eastern and mid-west divisions. His knowledge of commodities—including component pricing, negotiation and leveraging significant volumes across a breadth of items—makes him an invaluable asset to the SpenDifference team.

  • Tom Toohey

    Sr. Director, Strategic Initiatives

    Tom joined SpenDifference as an employee in January 2016 after working with SpenDifference as a consultant managing the FOCUS Brands and Long John Silver’s integrations. He brings extensive experience from outside the foodservice industry as a strategy and operations consultant for IBM, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and EnVision Business Consulting, working with Fortune 50 companies as well as small to medium enterprises. His background also includes working for Coors, MillerCoors and a medical device manufacturing company. His responsibilities include the Prometheus strategy process, program and project management and operational improvements. Tom has a dual-degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MBA in Finance from Indiana University.
